Shepherd University Education students who have been recommended by course instructors for their work in education courses.

What?

The poster is an eye-catching, visual presentation of classroom practice. The presenter verbally elaborates on the information to individuals or small groups who show interest in the topic as they browse through the poster presentations.

When?

Saturday, March 25, 2023
7:30 am                 Set up poster
8:00 am                 Return to poster and remain with it during presentation time
9:30 am-4:00pm    Posters remain on display
4:00 pm                 Retrieve poster at end of conference

How?

Prepare a trifold backboard with information on a particular topic.  Related objects or materials may be placed on the table in front of the poster along with a handout to be given to interested individuals.

The poster should be eye-catching, the title should clearly communicate important details about the topic, and all information should be large enough to be read from a distance.

Information on the poster should be formatted to highlight key information and information needs to be complete enough for the poster to stand alone without further elaboration for times when the presenter is not with the poster.
